Rates and Insurance
At Mountain Laurel Wellness, we believe that access to high-quality, compassionate therapy should be straightforward and transparent. Below you’ll find clear information about our therapy fees, accepted insurance plans, payment options, and your rights to a Good Faith Estimate under federal law. Whether you're planning to use your insurance or pay privately, we’re here to help you understand your benefits and choose the option that works best for your needs and budget.
We also offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to help you determine if our services are the right fit before scheduling a full session.
Accepted Insurance Plans
We are currently in-network with the following insurance providers:
Aetna
Cigna
Husky
United Healthcare
Anthem
Using your insurance for therapy can significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your mental health benefits, deductible, and co-pay information.
Out-of-Network & Superbills
If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits. We’re happy to provide a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Therapy Session Fees
We offer therapy services for individuals, couples, and families. Current session rates are:
Initial Intake Session: $200
Individual Therapy Session: $150
Family Therapy Session: $150
Couples Counseling Session: $150
These rates reflect the value of personalized, expert care designed to support your mental health and emotional well-being.
Payment Options
We accept a variety of convenient payment methods, including:
Credit or Debit Cards
HSA/FSA Cards
Cash
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
24-Hour Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to the full session fee, as this time has been reserved specifically for you.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate that outlines the expected costs of therapy services if you are not using insurance (i.e., self-pay clients). This estimate will include:
The cost per session
The expected frequency of sessions
A projected total cost over a 12-month period or duration of treatment
You have the right to receive this estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your first appointment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the charge.
For questions or to request your personalized estimate, please reach out to us directly. We're here to ensure full transparency and support as you begin your therapy journey.
