Stefanny Martinez, LCSW

PSYCHOTHERAPIST


Stefanny is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with years of experience working with a range of clients, including children, teens, young adults, and families.  She utilizes evidenced-based treatment models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Family Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Stefanny approaches therapy with the goal of creating a safe, culturally sensitive space, where you will not only feel heard, seen, and supported, but your beliefs, values, customs, and traditions will be respected and understood.  She partners with you to take on challenges, work at your pace, and find ways to work towards reaching your unique goals.

As a bilingual therapist, Stefanny offer services in both English and Spanish, to assist clients in feeling comfortable in their preferred language. 

Stefanny has experience in supporting:

  • Children struggling with regulating emotions and managing behaviors

  • Individuals navigating depression, anxiety, and self-esteem challenges

  • Families and couples struggling with conflict and relationship stressors

Education & Clinical Background
Stefanny earned her Master’s in Social Work from Regis College. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Western Connecticut State University. Stefanny has years of experience working with a range of clients, including children, teens, young adults, and families in a variety of settings, such as intensive in-home, outpatient, and inpatient psychiatric treatment settings.
