Kendelle Pitts, LPCA

PSYCHOTHERAPIST

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who aims to work through your emotional pain with you in a supportive and compassionate manner. My experience involves outpatient and intensive outpatient therapy revolving around substance use, mental health, and anger management. My approach is an empathetic and evidence-based mixture of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing with the goal of helping you achieve a feeling of stability and satisfaction in your life. This approach allows us to explore your experiences, identify patterns that may be contributing to distress, and develop practical strategies for positive change.

I have expertise supporting:

  • Substance use and recovery – including relapse prevention and building strategies for sustainable change

  • Anger management – identifying triggers and developing healthier coping strategies

  • Mental health concerns – helping individuals manage symptoms and develop skills for improved emotional well-being

  • Life instability and stressors – including experiences related to recovery and major life transitions

  • Legal system involvement and reentry challenges – supporting individuals referred through court systems and those navigating life after incarceration
