Ilaiza Mora, LCSW

Ilaiza Mora is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She believes in meeting people where they are and creating a comfortable, supportive environment where they can feel heard, understood, and accepted. Ilaiza values building a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe exploring their experiences while also feeling supported and challenged to grow.

Ilaiza has experience working with adolescents and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, school-based difficulties, trauma, PTSD, and behavioral challenges. She has worked with foster and adoptive families and clients with unique family compositions. She also has experience in crisis intervention, supporting individuals and families during some of their most difficult moments. Her experience includes working in a school setting, supporting children individually as well as in a group setting.

Ilaiza approaches each person with compassion and an understanding that everyone’s needs and experiences are unique. Together, she works with clients toward developing greater insight, building effective coping skills, strengthening relationships, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them.

Education & Clinical Background

Ilaiza obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work and Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut. She is also bilingual and can support Spanish-speaking clients.
